Congratulations to Shake-A-Leg for winning the Northern Indigenous Employment (NIE) Business Recognition Awards at a Ceremony held at the Hume Global Learning Centre on Friday 26th October 2012.
The awards are an annual celebration of Indigenous employment in Melbourne’s northern region – home to the second highest Aboriginal population in Victoria. The awards aim to recognise six businesses which have shown best practice in employing and training Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) people, particularly youth.
It was a fantastic result for all the hard work the Shake-A-Leg team has done within the community over the past two years.
