We currently have four young indigenous people taking up this exciting pathway opportunity to forge a career in the Department of Planning & Community Development. Recently 2 other Shakealeg participants completed their traineeships within DPCD & remain with the department.
Calder Park was the place to be on Saturday the 14th April for the first annual Chevy Nationals. The track was bustling with car enthusiasts and everything Chevy and Holden related. Congratulations to Sian Morley who was recently awarded the Victorian nomination for the annual Group Training Australia Awards that was held at the Regent Theatre Ballroom 21st September 2011. As part of the National Skills Week, WPC Group held a workshop on the essential link career advisors play in communicating the options and opportunities for young people as they make the transition from school to work.
